Promo Bundles 

Terms And Conditions

1.     The Promo Data Bundles promotion is valid from the 19 February 2019 until the 01 July 2019 

2. Vodacom reserves the right to expand on and/or amend these terms and conditions and where such change is material, Vodacom shall provide you with reasonable prior written notice prior to any such change taking effect

3. The Promo data bundles should be available to all Prepaid, Hybrid and Postpaid customers. The bundles must be for both EBU and CBU customers

4. The Promo bundles will be available  as once off bundles

5. Customers who purchase data bundles from other channels such as Customer Care will not qualify for the promotion.

6. For now, the promotion is only available via the following channels :

USSD

Vodacom Online (My Vodacom App and Portal)

Financial Institutions (for the 10GB and the 20GB ) only 


Further exclusions from the promotion include the following:

7. Customers who have a data line (Mobile Broadband Bundles) will not qualify for the Promo Bundles

8. The ability for customers to purchase the promo bundles for another number will not be available

9. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time and any such amendment will be posted on Vodacom’s website within a reasonable period of such amendment taking effect.

12. Vodacom’s sophisticated usage pattern analysis will determine which promo bundles will be offered to customers. 

13. All bundles allocated as part of a promo bundles offer will be valid for 30 days and will expire at 23:59 on the 30th day after the day of purchase.

14. For recurring bundles, the pricing Transformation data bundle can be de-activated at any time and the de-activation should be applied immediately. 

15. All Promo Data bundle prices are inclusive of VAT.

16. The cost of the Pricing Transformation data bundles will be applied to the customers as follows:

Deducted from airtime for Prepaid customers 

Added to bill for Post-paid and Hybrid customers

17. Customers should be able to opt out of the Pricing Transformation bundle re-allocations via USSD and Vodacom Online (Portal and App)

18. The direct USSD String for opting out of the Pricing Transformation bundle re-allocations is *135*41#

19. If a promotional data bundle is depleted and there are no additional active data bundles remaining the applicable out of bundle data rate is applicable depending the customers tariff plan 

20. A customer is allowed to purchase multiple Promo Data bundle offers.

21. There will be no Night Owl data allocation on these bundles.

22. As of the 28 February 2019 , the data bundle roll over service will be applicable to roll over service 

23. The Promo bundles cannot be used for international roaming.

24. Promo Data bundles cannot be transferred unless communicated to the customer.

26. Vodacom reserves the right to suspend the service in the event of suspected abuse where non-compliant devices as specified by the regulating body ICASA are being used on the Vodacom network
