Terms and Conditions

1. Vodacom reserves the right to expand on and/or amend these terms and conditions and where such change is material, Vodacom shall provide you with reasonable prior written notice prior to any such change taking effect

2. Google Play Store bundles enable customers to browse the Google Play store, download and update their apps using a single bundle.

3. The Google Play Store bundles will be available to all new and existing Prepaid, Hybrid (Top-up) and Post-paid customers

4. The Google Play Store bundles will be available to customers by dialling *135#

5. On the platform customers will be exposed to the following bundles.

6. Google Play Store bundles will only be applicable to data traffic pertaining to the Google Play Store app (excludes Google Play Store mobile browser and Google Play Store portal)

7. There is no carry-over of unused Google Play Store bundles after expiry.

8. Customers will be billed for Google Play Store bundles as follows:

9. The Google Play Store bundles are allocated in full with no pro-ration.

10. Google Play Store bundles do not apply to whilst roaming abroad, roaming rates will apply for data used while abroad.

11. If the allocated  bundle is depleted data usage will revert to other available data bundles and if there are none, data will be consumed at the out of bundle rate (per MB) rate applicable to the customer’s tariff plan

12. When a Post-paid subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to a Prepaid plan, the Google Play Store bundle will be automatically forfeited.

13. When a Post-paid subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to a Top Up/uChoose plan, the Once-Off URL Data bundle will be automatically forfeited.

14. When a Post-paid subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to another Post-paid plan, the subscriber will retain their Google Play Store bundle.

15. When a uChoose/Top Up subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to a Prepaid plan, the subscriber will retain their Google Play Store bundle.

16. When a uChoose/Top Up subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to another uChoose/Top Up plan, the subscriber will retain their Google Play Store bundle.

17. When a uChoose/Top Up subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to a Post-paid plan, the Google Play Store bundle will be forfeited.

18. When a Prepaid subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to another Prepaid plan, they will retain their Google Play Store bundle.

19. When a Prepaid subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to a uChoose/Top Up plan, they will retain their Google Play Store bundle.

20. When a Prepaid subscriber that has a Google Play Store bundle migrates to a Post-paid plan, the Google Play Store bundle will be forfeited.

21. Customers can purchase an additional Google Play Store bundles whilst a subscriber still has an existing Google Play Store bundle active.

22. You consent that Vodacom may, to the extent permitted by law, receive or disclose your personal information, documents, detailed call records, credit profile information and/or any other credit information from or to –

• any credit providers, credit bureau or credit reporting agencies;

• any law enforcement agencies that require the information for the prevention or investigation of criminal activities;

• any of Vodacom’s shareholders, related entities, suppliers, agents, professional advisors or any company within the Vodacom Group for marketing purposes, subject to your right to restrict receipt of unwanted marketing material or other rights in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008;

• any of Vodacom’s shareholders, related entities, suppliers, agents or professional advisors for reporting, accounting, product supply and service and/or auditing purposes;

• any company within the Vodacom Group for any purpose connected with the Services or the Network or incentive scheme purposes.

23. Despite any part of these terms and conditions that may indicate otherwise, Vodacom shall be entitled to utilize your detailed call records for any lawful purpose including but not limited to tracing and/or collection purposes.
