  • Somizi Buyani Mhlongo


    Somizi Buyani Mhlongo is a South African television presenter, radio personality, choreographer, actor and singer. In 1992, he appeared on the musical and political film, Sarafina! which gained his prominence. Mhlongo became lead choreographer for numerous shows and events, including the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

  • After starring and taking part in choreography for Sarafina!, Mhlongo also appeared in several films including drama film Cry, the Beloved Country (1995). Mhlongo ventured in music which was critical and commercial failure. He then made a revival with his song Ngibonile (2017) featuring house producer Heavy K.

  • With numerous television appearances, Mhlongo became one of the notable and successful personalities in South African industry. He appeared in various television shows, including Idols South Africa (2015–present), V Entertainment (2018–present), and his reality show Living the Dream with Somizi (2016–present)

  • Hlubi Mboya


    Hlubi Mboya is a South African actress and AIDS ambassador best known for her role as Nandipha Sithole on the SABC3 soapie Isidingo. She was one of the celebrity contestants on the fifth season of the SABC2 reality dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, from September to November, 2008.

  • Her professional dance partner was Khutso Khunou. Her role as Nandipha - who is HIV-positive - enabled Hlubi to travel throughout Africa to places such as Tanzania and Zambia as an HIV/AIDS ambassador.She graduated from Rustenburg Girls' High School in Cape Town. In late 2000 she took over the role of Nandipha Sithole on Isidingo from Manaka Ranaka, who was fired after seven months in the role when she informed producers she was pregnant.

  • Hlubi has graced the covers of a number of South African magazines including True Love and Elle. She is the proudest of her Elle cover, as she was the first black woman (non-model) to appear on its front page.She has also been ranked in five editions of FHM magazine's 100 Sexiest Woman In The World.

  • Aside from her longstanding role in Isidingo, Hlubi also presented the second season of the SABC2 "mind makeover" television series It's For Life, which aired at midday on Sundays in mid-2005.She made her film acting debut in the 2006 South African short film Shogun Khumalo Is Dying!, written and directed by Daron Chatz and Jahmil X.T. Qubeka.

    Nonqaba Rwaxa, or Ms Cosmo as she is known is one of South Africa’s most recognised female hip hop DJs.

  • The 25-year-old switched from a background in finance to DJing, courtesy of FUSE Academy, founded by pioneering DJ Zinhle.

  • She currently hosts 5FM’s Sunday night hip hop show, ‘The Stir-Up’, and is the only woman DJ on Channel O’s ‘The Bassment’.

    Full name Daniel Koppel, born 8 September 1977, is a South African singer, songwriter, and actor. He then pursued a career in puppetry, however, after he was rejected by the muppets, could no longer bring himself to apply as a puppeteer. He then became a singer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Wits University. Danny has been nominated multiple times for the SAMA and has won four times. He has two consecutive Kids Choice Awards, two consecutive Crystal Awards (People's Choice Awards), YOUmagazine Award for Best South African Musician, and The South African STYLE Award. Danny was also voted number 34 in the Heat Magazine's Hot 100 for 2007. He was voted by First National Bank's national survey as one of South Africa's few role models, as well as South Africa's most trustworthy 100 public personalities by Readers Digest.

The NGO has been a leader in crime prevention and education, donating millions of rands in the pursuit of a safer South Africa. The charity has has built 12 libraries in schools across the county assisting thousands of children literacy and numeracy needs.

His latest venture is KD Foods, a FMCG foods entity that includes brands like Sweets From Heaven and GoodHeart.

  • Hezron Louw


    Hezron Louw is a South African chef and television personality who rose to fame as a cheftestant on the first season of the SABC3 reality competition series Top Chef South Africa.

  • He is also the co-owner of Sumting Fresh, a gourmet street food company he founded with chef Andrew Leeuw in 2012 in Johannesburg.

  •  

  • Since starting the business after quitting his job at a bank, the food bus made a name for itself and has offered services for festivals like Bushfire (Swaziland), Oppikoppi and corporate events.

  •  

  • Born to Mozambican parents in Ennerdale, Hezron used to hang out at the cafeteria of the hospital his mother worked at. The cafeteria lady used to get him to chop vegetables and help with menial tasks and in exchange she would make him different food as a treat. This is how his passion for cooking started.

  • Hezron's food 'education' comes from experimenting and from some of his chef buddies.
